A little research ...
... goes a long way to cure ignorance ...
And if your point is one of mere aesthetics, I'm willing to bet it's camoflage merit (if viewed from the air) under a cam net would suggest a different conclusion ...

During the war the NVAF used to disperse their MiG's quite a distance away from the airfields, sometimes parking them under trees and camo nets as delta_lima mentioned. I think the blotchy paint job would work well with tree shadows to conceal the aircraft, especially during prime time for photo recce missions (10am - 2pm) which were the most likely way we'd find 'em.
