Get em whilst there hot.

Do what you like with them, but no monies to be made at all from the source files, in part or in whole.

These are the last copies of these files, they no longer reside on my HD as I've had to tidy a lot up with the move to FSx, Gmax is gone and FS9 is cut right back.

Some are quite good, others just bare structures, to be honest it'd take longer to convert to Max than to build new.

Thanks, Michael! I'm eventually going to populate the National Museum of Naval Aviation display tarmac at Pensacola, and this will be a help.

If you're so inclined, I'm sure Felix and the folks at Free Flight Design Studios would love to host these for the community.

Jim,

Feel free to send them over, I'm not a regular over there so wouldnt even know where to begin uploading, as long as the Zips stay intact I see no issues. If SoH wants to host as well then thats fine too, I'll keep them on my FTP for a short while and then delete them to clear space.

Best

Well the Carriers are in and running, the Jetstream41 went in this morning and I kinda worked out materials and such, no bump or special effects but standard dds and specular all seem to work fine, the Lynx Mk8 and BAe-146 will go through the converison tonight, neither are mapped or textured but raw unfinished meshes. I'm also considering a new Seaking ( USN ) to go with the carriers but havent decided how to do that best, currently its a retread from GMax, it loks and performs ok but the mesh needs some fettling and smoothing after the conversion as well as a whole new interior and VC.

Huey ?, err no that would be a gift too much LOL, beisdes its already Max native, its only Gmax source I've thrown out, I'm sure I had more vapourware sources kicking around but cant seem to find it anymore ?, maybe lost in some HD back up or something.

Thanks - I'll "salvage" them tonight.

"Uploading procedure" to FFDS is simple - grab me with a 2x4 across the head and send it to me by e-mail. (Also known as I haven't figured out how to set up a decent spam-proof uploading system on the site)

Felix,

Will you upload them please ?, I'd appreciate it if you do, I'm not a regular over there and I hate stomping in peoples front yards as a stranger, though I have gleaned info in the past from the forums whilst in stealth mode LOL.

"as a stranger?" with all the strange people that already haunt the place?

You are welcome at any time - to post, or to lurk!
