I was wondering if anyone was able to port-over the Capt. Sim F-104? Great aircraft with lots of liveries, and it would be a nice addition to FSX.

Many thanks, Larry

Well... sort of, got some free time on your hands? The whole story and more can be found in the "old CS F-104 in FSX" thread:

You might want to have a look at the excellent work being done by Sim Skunk Works. They are about to release a new (affordable) FSX-native payware version of their F-104S (V3.0) that is light years beyond any F-104 yet released for FS9 or FSX. They have also released the previous version (V2.6 ... also FSX-native) as freeware. Here is a link to their site ... where you will find both versions:

I'm also waiting for the simskunkworks F-104S V3.0. Considering the shift of its release from February to mid-July, I'm expecting an as good as it can be FSX F-104. It is just that strange registration procedure described in its page that makes me expecting a headache with its use. An automated procedure, or a FLIGHT1 wrapper use would have been way better.

In my experience with them, the registration process has been pretty painless. In fact, they've responded so quickly to me, even late in the evening here in Colorado, that I'm wondering if they ever sleep at all.
