Okay, so if you're still riding the excitement of the recently-released Turbo 210 from Carenado, get ready for more. Head on over to http://www.carenado.com and take a look at the newly published pictures of the 337 Skymaster in one of its first test flights.

And if anyone has insider info about the 337's development or the Beech C90, feel free to share!

(By the way, I have no idea why this came out sounding like a PR piece for Carenado, just passing along the info for those interested).

Are they planning an O-2 FAC version too? I am sure it would be a good seller for not a lot of extra work.

I would hope so. I haven't heard anything about it though, and Carenado historically hasn't dabbled too much into the military versions (with the exception of the T-34 Mentor). I know the FSD 337 comes with an O-2 model (pretty good in its own right), so it'd be interesting to see, if Carenado does in fact include an O-2 in the package, how they compare.

Very nice!! Had an opportunity to fly in one of these as a kid. My Dad was ferrying one so I got a unique flight. :icon_lol:

Yeah - as a teenager I used to get paid to clean 2 at our local airport and often had the chance to have a go.

That distictive sound flying overhead was always very distracting when i was at school bored with maths. Now it all adds up! - i blame them for being completely ungraded in maths LOL

She's very nice to fly. Great view from the VC, lots of performance, very stable, no disturbing yaw moments, she slips nicely and can be even forced into a snap roll which transitions into a nice spin...
