I'm going to build a new computer for FSX in the next 2 or 3 months. I was going to go with a Asus P5N32 board, Intel Core 2 E6600 CPU, eVga 8800 GTS 640 mg.
I started going to Newegg and see that several people are haveing a problem with this board, Memory compatibly mostly. I was planning to use 4 gigs Skill DDR2 800.
Is this board going to be a problem? I have used Asus boards for all my computers and they have been the Cadilac of boards.
You seem to be very knowledgeable about computers with a great deal of experience.
Thanks

Joe, please read the whole article and especially the conclusion on this board, even the upgrade has not be improved. I would shy from the use of this one.

Buddy if you can hold out just a couple more weeks I will have some great info on P35 motherboard options that won't cost you an arm and leg and they really are better boards and you can upgrade to Penryn whenever the price comes down.

Thanks Ted ....
Thats about what I feared. I'm gonna back up some cash at about $300 a month to do this because I'm on S. S. I'm just thankful that I can do this. It may well be February before I can actually order.
Again ...... Thanks
