Hi Friends,
A "silly" question:
I found at Flight-Sim a lot of WW2 Vehicles for CFS, all from Mr.Edmundo Abad.
It is possible to insert them in AI traffic in FS9 ?

It is easy to have moving vehicles as AI traffic in CFS 2, but I don't know about FS 9. I don't think that it is easy in FS9 as even the ships are stationary in that sim.

you can create moving AI traffic on both land and sea....hmmm, where to look, well you can google or you can ask on one of the FS forums, i know there is a WWII airbase with vehicles on it, at least i think so.. the car do move on the highways, and trains do too, but i am not sure how to achieve it....some of the best of the FS9 sceneries like that for Portland Airport have moving traffic ....

If you are lucky you can post here in the FS9 section and maybe Holger Sandman will see it, he is one of the best of the FS scenery designers...and he would know for sure.

Hi,
Those "vehicles" are scenery objects so you can't create ai traffic with them as they are "out of the box".
If we can figure out how to convert them to mdl files then you could possibly make them into ai "aircraft" and create ai traffic with them.

Anyone have an api to mdl converter handy?

Gavin

Yes it is possible, Arno and other worked this out back in 2009, here is the thread with the info and sample files...
