I am eagerly awaiting this one to complement Mike's excellent Super Cub range. Any news on where it stands?

I'm almost sure Mike made a post a week or so ago saying that he was either slowing down developments or stopping development on anything due to some, and I'm not sure about this, piracy concerns. I could be wrong but I do know i was set back when I read it.

I hope that's not the case. I love his Super Cub.

Hi there. No, nothing has stopped, just a bit slower due to real life, and the fact that working on three aircraft at once tends to make development slower overall on each aircraft. Next time, I'll go back to one at a time!

Messerschmitt Bf-109K-4: Not too far from completion. The gauges are taking a little longer than expected, but they're worth it. I hope you can fly a real 109.

Super Cub Ultra: Not too far from completion, but 109K has first priority.

Curtiss P-40N: Still building the model, as it's a very precise and complete one. Somewhat demanding when you have an almost-full set of factory drawings to work with, but there's still research to do as well.

That's where things are! :)

Isnt the P-40N a 2-seater?

Isnt the P-40N a 2-seater?

No, not a factory-stock P-40N anyway. Later N-models had re-designed canopy framing/glazing, most prominantly behind the cockpit, for increased visibility. The factory-produced two-seat P-40N, had a complete second cockpit, behind the forward cockpit, and was officially termed as a TP-40N. A number of stock-designed P-40N's flying today, however, do have a jump seat installed behind the pilot, and in some cases even a set of basic controls, so in effect making them "like" a TP-40N.

Thanks for replying Mike. I'm relieved to see that completion is planned. The Ultra will certainly grace my hangar when complete.
