Looking at posts here and Avsim I notice a few people are clicking on 'no' when they are asked if they want to overwrite the key settings. These are required for new features such as carriers, helicopter hoists etc. If you click no you won't be able to use the new features. You can always edit your settings later if you want.

If you go to the controls dialog and click on reset defaults it will now reset to Acceleration keymapping and not stock FSX keymapping. That could be helpful.

I did this once and it also reset all my joystick & rudder pedal assignments. :):d

I clicked "no", and I can still use the new features.
All you have to do is go to your settings/controls menu and set keystrokes for the new actions (hoist select, hoist extend/retract, hoist up, hoist down, attach to hoist, launchbar extend/retract, launch arm, launch trigger, and etc.).
It's WAY easier than going back through and customizing all your controls again.

Of course you're right, I forgot about that detail...
