In FSX I mean! :icon_lol:

Just had to see how far out in space I could go in the little time I had. Jesus, I never stopped, I had to leave, I was having too much fun.

Choose you trip machine, hit slew while in the VC, slew around, takes some screens. Have fun. :friday:

A good way to get to altitude faster is to go to map mode and dial in an altitude of say 400,000 feet or more. Click OK and you will boot up in orbit instantly.

Its a wild thought of falling that far until you hit air and can resume flight again. A huge planet....

Sweetness, thank Bill, I'll give that a go when I have a spare. Running now getting some spaghetti started in the croc and have to get the boys at school. Got two yonkin' male felines on me right now, better go get them some din-dins. Funny, they've both been dead asleep for the last four hours I know! How do cats know how to do what they do? Worse than children!

Chief dropped me off just a tid bit too high.:costumes:

I know the warthog is tough, and it really is. Landed just outside of Reno, and hit the ground running!

Just chillin' at the limit of 100,000,000 feet

What I did find fascinating up here was the fact that you can see the moon move...

Appropriate reading material by the way...

Don't forget for FSX you can get both the International Space Station which stays in permenant orbit at about 900,000' above Tyndall AFB(KPAM) and the matching Shuttle Atlantis.

The Atlantis is capable of getting to 600,000' on it's own and then you have to slew the rest of the way to the ISS.

Both at Avsim:
iss_kpam.zip
atlantis.zip

Re-entry is a little squirrely and needs some slew assistance but it is do-able.
