I actually repossessed an airplane before, back in my days working for a bank back in 2003. It was a 1999 Cessna 206 with only about 300 hours on it. Now I didn't get to fly it but I was part of the team that managed to convince the owner to hand over the keys and I got to do the condition report. VERY nice plane. The guy only owed 170k or so on it and it blue-booked at over 300k; he managed to scrape up the past due and got it back a few days later. I cannot remember the N-number or the owner's name, otherwise I would have done a repaint. Ahhhh, good times....

Interesting. There have been three A320's parked on the ramp at KGYY for nearly a year now that are "repo's..."

Thats interesting I'll have to check that show out. I've noticed that there have been a lot of aviation shows on cable lately, I just started watching Ice Pilots on National Geographic. Hopefully they'll keep it these shows around. Do you know what the title of this show is?

Yep, see post #3. They've been there quite a while now. I'm surprised that no one's bought them yet...

Up until about three months ago, there was a wrecked 737-200 stored in the same ramp area. It was a very sad sight. Finally the salvagers came and hacked it up into small enough pieces to haul it away.

Popovich lives in Valparaiso, IN (about 30nm from me), which is of course why the A320's wound up at KGYY.
