Don't remember this movie being mentioned here in this section before...

"Barnstorming"
It's not a film specifically about Barnstorming.
It's a film about friends and friendships.
Two pilots, about a decade ago, landed their antique aircraft in a farmer's field.
It grew into a lasting friendship that now is an annual fly-in event.
Nice little "slice of life" movie.
Some great old aircraft. Wacos, Cubs, Pitts, looks like even a Taylorcraft.
You get to see a Pietenpol in "action". :icon_lol:

It's making the rounds again on Public Television channels.
I'm lucky enough to get both Minnesota and South Dakota PBS channels, so I'll get to see it again soon.
Recommend watching it if it comes up on your local channel.

Or you can own the DVD for only $20. Not a bad deal either.

One of the guys in that film is the pilot for the twin beech here at our airport.....
