A great apparatus with a huge recreational value as well. http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/764_yes.gif (http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/view-764_yes.gif)
A machine from Japan with barely noticeable design differences:

The FAA will have a cow if these things go into production and come to the U.S.

Didn't Woody Allen ride one of those in "Sleeper"?

Looks stable, the comment about a BRS chute would be a good idea.

That NZ pack looks pretty cool.
Quiet as well.

30 years, a garden shed, and some #8 wire is all it takes...Kiwis take pride in being tinkerers against the odds.
Think The World's Fastest Indian (http://www.indianmotorbikes.com/features/munro/munro.htm) for example.
A bit like the Segway, this will have to create its own market.
Cool that it can be remotely piloted.
