http://fs9x.dyndns.org (http://fs9x.dyndns.org) roll out time…

With most of the features working and in place the time has come to roll out the Team Outhouse Fan Site the un-Official Home of Team Outhouse.

Take some time to go to http://fs9x.dyndns.org (http://fs9x.dyndns.org/) and browse around.

The Primary Mission of the site was to provide a Bonus Tracking page for the race here we will have the Official Bonus Logs for the race on display for the race committee and fans alike.

To provide the page I needed to create a site with just some basic details about the race and the Team. That Idea died about 15 minutes into brain storming ideas to add to the Site. In a short amount of time I came up with more features to add and more material that I would like to add. The basic Idea gave way to creating a site that was more Fan based than anything else. The Official Mission of the site is to Provide information that Fans of the Race and Team Outhouse will find Entertaining. I still need to finish (or start) work on the Bonus page but the rest of the site is up and running on my home server.

What you can find at the site.

about: A basic overview of the creation of Team Outhouse and how we faired in the Dark Years.

Meet the Pilots: Registered Pilots get their own page where they can tell you about themselves and their history with the team… and anything else they may want to divulge. (I caution you to not believe everything you read) So register today and join in on the fun. No experience necessary.

Meet the Route Planners: Here you will meet the Team Outhouse Route Planning Team.

Featured Pilots: Things happen in the race and a simple post does not do them or the Pilots involved justice here we chronicle the tales of pilots whose exploits deserve recognition. Any member may write a tale to chronicle the events.

Team Events: Just a place to log practice sessions and other important dates.

Resource Links: A log of important files and places to start in the race.
Bonus Page: In progress

Status Page: Shows a map cronicaling where we have been. This function is working for the Practices and the hope is it will be refined for the race.

Real Time Pilot Tracker: (my name for it) is a function created by Johannes Mueller in 2005 to show the positions of pilots on his FS Host Server. He freely made the user303.html file available to persons at the FS Host Forum I have incorporated this into the site.

This is a step closer to giving fans something to watch without having them in the game. They will see markers on Google map as to where pilots are if they click on them they will see their screen name, altitude, airspeed, and heading. So for those of you who can fly online clean yourselves up your going to be on fs9x-TV. This is providing members fly online at my server (same address) but that has not been determined by the team.

RTWR Journals: You may find yourself wondering what really happened in the past races. Well all of the Race Journals that I could find are here. I provide links to sites that you can view or download the past race jounals. As soon as I obtain permission from the race committee you will find the race journals hosted here. They are just simple pdf files.

Select Videos: What website is complete with out some form of videos. This section is under development and is in need of a Good Sim-Outhouse Videoagrapher to take control of it.

Florks Corner: Team Outhouse Member Flork has taken control of his own corner to give us writings and views from a Team Member.

Just because: There is nothing here don’t even bother looking.

Contact us: or Contact me as it should be written. Just the normal page to visit if you need to contact the person in charge. You will be ignored in order but don’t worry about it as it is nothing personal (not really but it feels like it some times).

The connection is a slow DSL connection so you will notice delays as the pages load sorry about that but this is as fast as it gets where I am living. I will upgrade to better speed at some time if it becomes available. If you are on dial up I am sorry but some of these pages will not be dial up friendly.

So don’t delay head over to http://fs9x.dyndns.org (http://fs9x.dyndns.org/) and check out the Team.

The race is 75 days left and counting still plenty of time to join the team. Sign up today at http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=3151 (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=3151) and for you the Lunacy starts tomorrow.

Wow, looks great. I like the real time "where the heck are we?" page. That's pretty cool.

:costumes: Obviously it is not as Obscure as I thought but I have learned that the bandwidth here at the Outhouse is very wide and fast. :applause:

You are right
