XavierB's Hangars and tents are on this page: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/page.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&FileType=cfs2-scenery&page=downloads&ammm=15&pap=18

His Barracks should be somewhere on those pages too.

Good morning,

This is a day late and a dollar short, but for whatever reason, there is actually a "hidden" xavierb folder in the SOH archives.

Most of his files are stores under "xavierb2": http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/page.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=downloads&FileUploadName=xavierb2

But, there is also "xavierb": http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/page.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=downloads&FileUploadName=xavierb

I don't have any explanation for it either...:isadizzy:

Too bad about that site being AWOL.

I think you'll be OK with any good mesh of Japan.

Try Werner Vogt's mesh. Look for "Jap1srtm.zip" over at the larger sim sites.

I have some Mesh I found at simviation for the japan 2006 set up

Now I am trying to find all the Mesh for the eawwii_full_scenery_2006.zip (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/#download)
Boy, I had forgotten how bloody hard this can be finding this stuff.
Thanks Guys for the help so far..
I would like to find all the mesh it makes a BIG difference how all of this looks in the sim..

The eawwii_full_scenery_2006.zip (http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/#download) looks like a Big pain to find all the items since so far NONE of the links have worked for this in the read me ??

Hi HouseHobbit,

Go directly to Dick "Rhumbaflappy" Ludowise's website for the latest mesh:

http://cid-f3950c5bbd2bcfa1.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/FS%20Addons/Mesh?wa=wsignin1.0&sa=103810584

Dick's mesh covers all the theatres of war. If you want a higher level of detail you can still install other specific mesh over his.

Ian Elliot's RAF airfields are in the Warbird's Archive CFS 2 scenery section.

Good luck,
Kevin

Househobbit,

As far as the objects are concerned, perhaps I can meet you at least halfway. Achim uses many of the same objects, so you can use the working hyperlinks in this download to get much of what you need, just cross-reference between the two.

Thanks Guys, I am downloading the Mesh files, they go into the Scenery folder in CFS2 correct??
Once I have them downloaded that is..

I have this link for mesh files also now;
http://www.simviation.com/fsdterrainsrtm.htm

I will use Rhumbaflappy's files if I can work out which ones I need for this..

I am limited to size in all of this, only have a 13 gig HD to work with, so I can't load all the mesh files out there..LOL..
And it is well over half full with just two CFS2 set ups installed..

You all are a Great help, I don't remember this from years ago when I loaded scenery into CFS2 but things are more interesting now days I guess..
Bravo to all of you..:salute: :salute:
Thanks..

HH,

Only Dick's LOD 5 mesh goes into the scenery folder, the LOD 7, LOD 8 & watermasks can be added thru the scenery library, just make sure your library order is correct ...

other airbases & terrain sets
LOD8
LOD7

mesh sits under everything else. The higher the number, the more detailed it is, so don't put LOD 7 higher than LOD 8.

Adding thru the scenery library also lets you easily switch on/ off as you need them. Rhumbas watermasks are a little too aggressive in areas, you can simply switch them off & go fly.

Hope this helps.

Househobbit,

I forgot all about this, but dvslats took the ETO/MTO install guidea I created and made a Pacific version of it. I think this may really help the process for you.
