There only seemed to be the Alphasim Martin Mars. So although it's an older FsX model, for 14 quid I thought I'd risk it. The exterior model is very nice; well bump mapped looks the part. The vc is a little basic and strangely there was an Fs98 gauge in the civil model, which I promptly removed (extra-300.timer?).
To spice up the exterior I added the Liberators engine smoke fx and all in all I'm happy with this big floater.

Jens B. Kristensen has made two (that I know of ) Shorts, the Sandrigan and the Empire useable (but not native). He also has a Sunderland. I currently have the China Clipper installed and flying. (All freeware)

Jim,
There are some great flying boats out there and I have them all in Fs9. It is possible to get textures to show in Dx10 with addon converter x but there are no alphas and I do like a little shine.:jump:

"Quid" is slang for a British Pound £.

Well, don't know if we'll get any, but Pensacola will sure be ready for the upcoming Catalina!
