I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the British Magazine Fly Past. I've just checked their web site and they have a really nice screen saver. Check it out.

I just stumbled across it a couple weeks ago at Borders. A most excellent magazine, read it cover to cover. Was thinking about a subscription for $80.00 a year US but I mentioned it to my wife and now I think it will be a birthday present. :d

I impulse-bought an issue of Flypast recently. And no, I haven't read it all yet! FANTASTIC!

Here's a magazine I like... even though I'm stuck in World War I...

Glad to hear you guys are finding the delights of Flypast over there! Another one you might like to look for is 'Aeroplane'. This magazine has been going in some form since the 1930s. I don't get them every month but do have a flick through in the newsagents.

Flypast have done some quite beautiful 'Specials' in the past too.

I've been buying both FLYPAST and AEROPLANE MONTHLY now for years and I've kept every copy. They are the BEST aviation magazines going. If something hot is going on on this side of the pond, I'll read about it first in one of them.

My personal favorite was Air Enthusiast, but I haven't seen one in a while. :ernae:

Gotta mention one more, Model Aircraft Monthly. Usually it seems about one half of each issue is devoted to historic aircraft and campaigns. Plenty of color profiles, one recent one was of a Fiat G-50 in Yugoslav markings. Them Brits sure do good magazines.
