Memoirs from personnel at Kaneohe, Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941, continuing through WWII. Many accounts of rescues in the Solomon Islands. Those crews were Guardian Angels, indeed.

I agree, that was a great book, I read it for school. The pilots in the Aleutians were truly amazing.
