Hi, Any know how is the speed of A6M6C with W.E.P.?

the only that I searched is this, but I do not understand, A6m5c was more faster than A6m6c?
See this:

Although a maximum speed of 346 mph could be achieved with the Sakae 31 engine, the actual performance was usually below this because of poor quality control in the manufacture of the engine and airframe. In addition, the Sakae 31 engine did not produced the expected boosted power and the injection system was troublesome and difficult to maintain.

A6M6c Model 53c was a re-engined version of the A6M5c put into production in late 1944.

One prototype of the A6M6c was built by Mitsubishi in late 1944, but the production of the A6M6c Model 53C was assigned to Nakajima at the Koizuma plant. A small quantity of A6M6c fighters were turned out by Nakajima, the exact number being unknown.

I sink that If production started in 1944 more than 150 models was made.

A6M6c:
Model: Nakajima NK1C Sakae 31
Type: 14 Cylinder two row radial
Number: One Horsepower: 1,130 hp
Fitted with water/methanol boost to
1,210hp for emergency use.

Maxstuka,

Given as how it was only a modest horsepower increase, and the inherent limitations of the design, the top speed of an A6M5 was about 350mph. (560-565 km/h)

I would guesstimate that it might have increased top speed to somewhere close to 365-370mph. (585-595 km/h) The standard A6M5 had a climb rate of about 2,800 ft/min, (855m/min) so theoretically, you could add anywhere from 5-20 percent on top of those climb numbers.

370mph in a A6M zero? It is much faster. I add more info. But I can not beliave that A6m5 was more faster than A6m6 with WEP.
it does not have sense

(M6c)346 mph vs (M5c)351 mph

Other things may ave been added in terms of armor, radios, heavier powerplant, weapons, etc. which increased weight, minimizing performance increases, or even reducing performance. I don't know, just sayin'.
