That is a nice photo. Today's new generation of cameras are amazing. In ten years noisy ISOs will probably be a thing of the past.

Kind of make me wonder where Sony would be now with CCD sensor development had they continued to pursue....I've always preferred CCD images (a la' Leica M9) over CMOS sensor images....I think Zeiss glass on a quality Sony CCD sensor would be an excellent combination!

You know, Ed, I'm actually still amazed every time I use my - now nearly three year old - A350 (it has a 14.2 MP CCD sensor). With a decent piece of glass up front (like my 70-400G SSM) it's superb at low ISOs...I still love that 'old reliable' Alpha of mine :).

Yep...There's a reason why Leica chose CCD over CMOS....Hopefully, things like the NEXVG10 will "kill" video capabilities in DSLR's so we can get back to the better (IMHO) CCD sensor in digital still cameras....
