Probably this is the one (http://mark-harper.co.uk/HMS%20Eagle.htm)you saw. No idea on the current status though, sorry.

The Eagle is ready for FSX along with the Kuznetsov, Minsk, Kara Class ships and Akula Class subs. The Eagle will be (when released) in 3 versions of its life. Other projects have taken over priority but it should be available soon when a suitable "anti pirate solution" can be found - if not it will stay on my disks because the market cannot be trusted.
Also a detailed Essex Class flat top is near completion - all FSX native.

Funny, AndyG ... I was just thinking about that very project and wondering its status. What a place to call home for the Sea Vixens and Gannets ... to say nothing of the soon-to-come Buccs ... :)
Thanks for the update on the Ark Royal R07. The vid shows a well-rendered RN "abreast and across" landing pattern - a lot of FS vids show the "straight in" approach, which if course is not the correct one for RN Harriers.
Thanks to all devs for these awesome projects....

ps - stumbled across this vid - a bit OT, given it's the "real thing" versus FSX, but a wonderfully shot video of the RN FAA at work in its 70's heyday ...

All good news (the only thing that could have made it better would have been the phrase "FS9" lol), really hope you find that "anti pirate solution" - maybe we can arrange a Sea Vixen CAP?

Been eagerly awaiting te Eagle for some time, I too hope you find the solution soon :jump:
Maybey see what was done witht he Skysim Hawk? Pretty sure I read the manufacturers over at CBFS writting something about it being as yet unpirated. Pretty impressive since its been on the market for years. Also pleased to hear that there are multiple variants planned.
Don't think its been mentioned yet, the flying stations HMS Victorious is available in an early WW2 guise, post war version to follow at some stage.

Do you have the French Nuclear carrier R91 Charles de Gaulle, was just about the post the link to the site but it's got a thread on here already - http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?15580-Charles-de-Gaulle-R91

Those two Arks are beautiful. Any chance of an RM Band beating retreat on the flight deck?

That is my Youtube Vid of choice with the sound cranked up when the family is out and I have to house to myself! Although the original with the Pink Floyd music was better.
Interesting to hear about the Eagle almost being released, from the early screen grabs that have been around for a long time that looks great.

I used to love that programme!! To this day whenever I hear Rod Stewart's "Sailing" my mental image is that of a Seaking lifting off Ark's deck! :salute:

Andy, cannot agree more, that is why I had to use Rod's tune on this video some years ago...

There are actually two Casablanca class carriers: Phil Crowther built one for his FM2 & escort carrier group package, and mine (CVE-73 and CVE-100) available here among other places.
