From the "evil empire" among the airlines in the 1980s.
Cool paint scheme though.

- Edit:

There's a story behind the registration number...

Nah. Rather the one that sucked Eastern dry and killed PeoplExpress.

P.S: It's "Coruscant". ;P

Though in fairness - they used that paint back in the '70's, before the rise of the Empire. So I guess it dates back to the last days of the Republic...

Personally I like the 1980 -87 pre-merger paint that 816NY would have worn..

Naw, Republic had nothing to do with it, although they also overgrew and had to sell out in the end. :icon_lol:

Thinking about it...and a billion other paints.

Then again, I can still threaten to release the paintkit and let others do some painting...

But first, the 737 engine gauges in the cockpit have to go. Thank goodness for some XML programming skills!

Engine display with every function of the real thing.
Working on the EPR control panel on the right now; might implement engine damage as well to punish improper engine handling via EPR.

The manual of the Coolsky MD-80 is a tremendous help in determining functionalities, but I fear I might end up with complex clone of it in the end. :icon_lol:

Scratch the damage, the EPR basically now works as a throttle limiter and thus emulates the real throttle system to a degree. Not sure how the autothrottle plays along though...
