I took a few screens of the Alphasim F22. I was playing around with it and did some surprising maneuvers. Sorry about the smoke from the wing. Enjoy

Thanks for the kind words. This is one of the best $20 add on I have got. Just wish I could paint it.

It's doable but but you have to really study the texture names. All of Carl's were like that though.

Having said that I just noticed that it looks like Phil (aka Alphasim/Virtavia) has released the F-22 Raptor in both FS9 and FSX variants over at http://www.easyfly.co.nz/Freeware/index.php (http://www.easyfly.co.nz/Freeware/index.php)

I didn't know we had an FSX version so not sure what this really is and I'm in the middle of a huge texture upload so I can't check it out right now.

...

Just read a note from Phil, "..., so there's no point hanging onto ours now - it's on the freeware site as of now. I also included an FSX portover version I'd been experimenting with. It works well, only fault is some minor graphics issues, the oleos are black and so are some small parts in the VC, other than that it's all good. They are both set up as Virtavia .msi's too, not Zips. No sounds included, but the full panel is there, the FSX one also has DDS textures, Virtavia thumbs, the works."

As long as I have owned this AS F22 a few years now. I have not been able to paint it until today after downloading the FSX version.:jump:

I'm just hoping someone is making a Tyndall repaint for the IRIS F-22. I am kinda shocked that there wasn't one to begin with, but it may be because Tyndall is my "home" area Raptor base.

If anyone wants to make one and needs some pics, send me a PM. I have been to shows there the last several years (when they have them scheduled that is).
