Hi Jim,

many thanks for this, yet another great piece of scenery! :applause:

I just did a quick check and it seems to be working nicely with the Beta version of the ORBX Central Rockies scenery; doesn't look as if there are going to be any compatibility hassles. :icon_lol:

Cheers, Holger

Thanks, guys.

Didn't know you folks were down in that area yet Holger. Probably significantly easier to blend in with photoreal ground with a 200-500 pixel blend in the blend mask. The ranges only have a 50-100 pixel blend.

Hi Jim,

we may make a similar sized photoreal area with seasons so that it fully matches our ground textures throughout the year.

By the way, the disadvantage of wide blending strips is that you'll end up with a fairly significant autogen exclusion within that blending strip. For that reason I try to keep blending of photoreal backgrounds to a minimum and instead follow existing edges within the photo area, like roads, fields, suburban borders, etc.

Cheers, Holger

Jim, is this a different version than the one you let us try out with the Milviz F-15E?

I agree with the autogen exclusion, but when you're going from nothing to something, it just looks better to me.

Yup. Seasonal ground would be nice.

Thanks for the KMUO scenery, I hope you will do more of this kind:salute:

It's a bit different Bone. I streamlined that iteration some, just making sure it was framerate friendly, and stomped a few bugs, that's all.

Flight line looks good full of F-15's.

Seems like there's also some F-16's??

Break to land to see where the F-16's are from.

Doesn't show too well in this shot but the tails on the -16's all have WA on them, must be Washington ANG in for some range time.

Parked for the day, see if I can get out to the ranges tomorrow.
