Hi all,

After a long hiatus from combat simming, I installed CFS1 as a prelude to installing CFS2 on my machine (AMD 2500+, 512 RAM, ATI 9200 128MB card, WinXP SP2). I fired up the sim and everything works fine....except, the throttle. I have the USB CH FlightStick Pro and USB Pro Pedals. I have unchecked the "autorudder" setting in the options as I naturally want to use my pedals. However, when I'm flying and I press either left or right rudder pedal, the throttle setting will return to zero. The only way I can get the throttle to come back up is to center the pedals, then hit the appropriate keyboard command to throttle back up.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

This may be a bit simplistic, but check the control assignments in the game settings. You may have some conflicting settings. If your game controller can not be reassigned, you might need to reassign the throttle to different keys or to another axis of your controller.

Ivan,

Thanks, but I already tried that. According to the settings the throttle is controlled by the keyboard. I reset those settings, but it didn't do any good.

I don't know what to say....I use a Saitek ST290 with the throttle on the stick and twist rudder...I did try to duplicate the problem by going ahead and removing the throttle assignment from the stick, using keyboard, and it worked fine...it could be in the USB root hub for your pedals....

Keep in mind that there may be multiple settings for a single control. My joystick throttle and keyboard both work to control the throttle setting.

Flieger, I posted some screenshots in your throttle thread in the CFS2 forum. Maybe they'll help ya out.
