Very nice, Ferry! I've long been drawn to these schemes as well.
If painting a B-24 was a cheap-process, I know of some folks who would love to see the Collings Foundation B-24J painted in one of those "assembly-ship" paint schemes for a season or two...it could sure draw some attention at least. ;)

I saw a very color profile book last weekend that was entirely about these aircraft. So many very cool scheme's! Awesome work!

I remember doing those many moons ago, Pete is still one of my favorite schemes. looking good.

It's a shame that the guns and turrets cannot be removed. One day I'm gonna take a look, and add the formation forming lights to the fuselage and tail fins (those rings shown on the big P on Pete the Pom Inspector).
