Welcome Mug!

That's the great thing about this forum, you'll find lots of help!

Check out threads by TXNETCOP. Ted has shown us that a low cost computer built with quality components will run FSX superbly. He just built one to settle a bet with his BIL for $1,500 and it rocks the socks off FSX.

In order of importance:

CPU
Ram
Mainboard
Graphics card
Rest

General rule: The more, the merrier.

How fast ya wanna go means how much money ya got to spend. You would be better to build it your self and then you would end up with a good system...Mike

I am trying to post something to keep from getting booted. I am interested in following the spec's of what is needed for FSX to operate properly. So I will keep watching.

In my opinion, there is no perfect computer.
The minute you buy it, get it home, and take it out of the box, it's already obsolete. It just happens to be better than the computer you had previously.

The day the perfect computer is made, they should stop trying to improve them. I don't see that happening any time soon.
