Personally I care less about the runway weathering but am more into nice clougs,as I spend more time in the clouds than setting on runways looking at the tarmac.....:applause:

Actually I am just the opposite. I usually fly short hops and my fav thing in the sim is landing and takeoff. Also as a scenery developer I spent way to much time on the ground, trying to make the sitting on the tarmac experience as real feeling as possible, LOL.

Thanks for the HU P, never really considered Xgraphics till now.

If default FSX clouds give you headaches, then XGraphics is god-send. Their DXT 5 available resolutions of 256k & 128k can definitely help you enjoy more weather situations :mixedsmi:

It certainly looks good. Besides supposedly providing a much better graphic does it actually improve framerates?

For me, yes at the 256k & 128k DXT5 options....
