Do you think will be convenient adding in “Mdlnames” USIO ships too ??

Strange enough , there are no instructions about it

Thanks in advance

I have done it. In my new campaign I am including a copy oif my mdlnames file so there won't be any name conflicts. :wiggle:

I've never found it necessary to put ship names in my mdlnames.dat file. In fact, to save space I usually delete all reference to them.

If you want a ship to show up in MB preview window, you'll need to list the ship in your Info folder > Descrip.dat file and also place a little screen shot of it in your Info folder too.

Example:

# IJNS_Shikinami
Japanese Fubuki Class destroyer present at the invasion of Malaya and Singapore in 1941, the Tokyo Express in 1942, and the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1944. Sunk by the USS Growler in October of 1944 in the South China Sea.

For campaigns and missions, you can also include the name of the new ship in your Info Folder > Callsign.dat file.

Example:

# Japanese Destroyers

Shikinami, 4, 5, 15
Fubuki, 4, 5, 15
Azukazi, 4, 5, 15
