Any Military Police here?

Knowing there are a lot of former and active duty military on here (a big thank you to all of you by the way), I was wondering if any of you were Military Police?

My son is in college studying for a degree in Criminal Justice, and is considering joining the National Guard. If he does, he is going to go for MP as that is his field of study. He is considering going active duty (career) after college.

If there are any MP's on here, any advice for him, or for his parents, lol. I never had the privilege of serving due to health reasons, so I don't have any advice to give him unfortunately....

have your son ( if he is the one asking for the advise) or yourself..just go to your local PD or SO and ask the dispatcher or whoever comes to the window if any officers or deputies are ex MPs or whatever the given military branch calls them ( i believe the navy calls them something else?)as long as ya dont look or act "hinchy" they may well be happy to give an interview to help you and your son
