My sister just gave me a handful of my dad's old "Aviation Week & Space Technology" magazines from the early '70s. They have a bunch of cool stuff, but I was particularly struck by some of the ads. They're clearly not aimed at the average consumer; there are ads for fighters, airliners, avionics, weapon systems, etc. As an experiment I tried scanning a few and I think they came out pretty decent.

So, a couple of questions. First, is anyone interested in seeing any of them? If so, is it OK to attach them? I've been resizing the full-page ads to 1024 pixels high which seems to be a good balance of detail and manageability, but it's bigger than the stated maximum height in these forums of 768. The exact width depends on the crop, but figure around 750. Filesize for decent quality JPGs looks to be a bit under 200k.

Here are links to a couple:

Whadda y'all think? Any interest? Any legal or technical reasons I shouldn't post them here as attachments?

A few more: The supplier of A-6E radar, DC-10s and Concorde. Until a moderator says it's OK to attach these I'll continue linking.
