Not yet ,I think it's still the beta version, but the public release is supposed to be sometime in March.

Installed it on Win 7 64 Ultimate. I did some quick testing and I did not encounter any noticable adverse effects. Will do some further testing but chime in if you guys have any further results testing.

Havnt noticed any effect on FSX however for the first couple of days after my last update CoD was acting rather strange, seems to have sorted itself out now though.

You cannot see any differnece or effects from this SP1.
Like Microsoft stated,it`s only a collection of all released Hotfixes and patches, nothing else.
Who allready updated regularly, doesn`t need this SP1

Installed SP1 today on my Win7 64bit system. My PC is updated regularly

Windows update came out with a download of 74mb so I suspect there's a little more to it.

SP1 broke the Aerosoft Huey activation. Had to reactivate it. I think SP1 brakes the aerosoft soft protection.

I kept my win 7 up to date and installed SP1. Gained about 4 or 5 gigs of disk space.
Can't tell yet about anything else.

After a full day of testing I noticed one major issue.
Each time about an hour of two flying after firing up FSX my framerates drops unusually low.
My guess is a memory leak somewhere. Could be a coincidence, but before the update I could fly a single session for hoooooours without any fps drop. :rocket:

Cheers,
Hank

Well that was a long day well spent trying to get my computer back in working order... :banghead:

Somehow my antivirus screwed up the SP1 install and vice versa... Took me a while just to roll back to pre-SP1, a few hours to make back-ups and removing the AV was harder than it is to remove an actual virus! Just made another attempt to install SP1 and all seems OK so far..

What´s your AV may i ask? To NEVER use it here!!!! :salute:

Panda 2011.. It works OK, but gets a bit overzealous sometimes! Russian programs for example are too often marked as a 'virus', giving problems with Sibwings aircraft and Rise of Flight.

...better use NOD32!! Geen problemen mee! Neither with russian proggies etc.

Cheers.

While not trying to give too much info here, I NEVER install (let Microsoft install whatever they want) via automatic update. Most of it is bloatware that's really not needed. I'm not going into any detail on the subject, but if you really want to know, they usually don't tell you what update #2555307935144 is for anyway. Most of the stuff has always been 3rd party. I don't like that. I install what I want. To do this you have to spend time on M$ forums (technet) that involves a LOT of reading. Critical updates are really all that's needed. But that's my way of updating.

The only things I *don't* update are IE and that malware removal tool. Anything else has never had a negative effect on my system.

I really don't know where you guys get your troubles from...

Looks like an Aerosoft, not an MS problem to me!
