I just wrote Berndt at Egosoft this weekend and he answered the email today. I asked if they had a nice, detailed, step to step SDK pack for how to make a ship for X3TC. Reply is basically that they are not huge like Microsoft and do not have the manpower to produce a nice SDK, to check in the MODS forum for help.
Which I did long ago and couldnt find the info I needed, mostly ignored posts... arrgh..
Pretty nice though that he wrote me back the following Monday. That is pretty awesome.
I would love to be able to just drop new ships into X3 and fly them around.
