Late yesterday afternoon I took a great 15-mile bike ride. I had my camera in the car, because I had originally planned a walk, but the wind subsided, so I took the bike. When I returned to my car, the sun was just setting and I shot this river view under extreme low light conditions. I had my full tripod in the car, so I decided because of the low lighting to try an HDR image from three bracketed images. Unreal this HDR stuff, I would never have achieved this shot in one image at normal exposure values. HDR work done in Photomatix Pro and the photo then post processed in Photoshop CS.
PENTAX K-x, ISO 200, Av Priority, f/4.5, 35-mm lens settings, three bracketed images at -2, 0, +2 Ev.
