Some long..........time ago,I downloaded an effect that cutted off most of the tree tops.
I dont remember the name of this download, and I would like to know how to reverse this effect?
Thanks.

Hi GOSD, I got that effect once. I think it is caused by a mismatch between the scenerysheet01.dds and the sceneryobjects.xml. Take a look through the stuff you have in your Assets folder, and see if you have both of those files. You may have ended up with the scenerysheet from one package, and the scenery objects xml from a different package.
You may also have more than one of either of those files, if you have subfolders under your Assets folder. What you need to have is a scenery sheet dds which matches the scenery objects xml file. Eliminate any double ups (back up each file before deleting!)
So you will need to scavenge a matched pair of these files from a working install, or default back to the original files which are found (I think) in one of the zip files in the Terrains folder.

Hey GOSD,
did you get the scenery sorted? Looking in my assets folder I found another file that could complicate things if there is a mismatch. Thats the scenerysheet01.xml, which lists/names all the images in the scenerysheet01.dds file.
So those tow, plus the sceneryobjects.xml, will probably be the culprits.

Actualy no...
I still thinks I must of downloaded something to do this, I think it had something to do with bombers being able to take off whithout hiting tree tops.

OK, don't know what would do that, without remodelling the tree models or summat.
However I did get the same result by using (from memory) the dds scenerysheet from BoB (the commercial one) without matching it to the sceneryobjects.xml. I ended up with a load of brown tree trunks with no tops !? :isadizzy:
Anyway good luck with it, perhaps taking some amber nectar will help? :ernae:
