Roger I picked this up a couple of days ago and its not bad. Considering its only 20 bucks its worth it to me. FSX doesnt have a native FSX model so this def fills the game. Nemeth is suppose to be releasing a CH-47 in the future which will be as good or better.

Highs:

Soundpac is okay
External Model looks great
Price is great

Lows:

Limited vc functionality at best
VC/textures are kind of basic to me..
Flys like most helos you get from anyone else
Only two skins and Im not sure about a paint kit.

Still its the only native FSX out there and Ive been waiting for one for along time. It is fun to fly and with alittle tweeking you can add alittle eye candy.

I haven't bought it. What I heard the paint templates are included in the fs9 installation only.

Could someone provide a nice sample of VC shots? The Area 51 page only has a shot of the PFD and MFD.

I added a radar MFD to the main center MFD along with a heatblur that only works below 75ft. Once you climb above 75ft it disables itself and vice versa when your below 75ft.. Only problem is that it wont resync itself when resetting the Altimeter. So if your 75ft above sealevel ready to takeoff the effect wont work. Its basically eye candy..

Thanks, I might do that when I get done with my trip. I'm definately going to get this chopper, too, it looks nice and the price is right. So what if it has limited switchology, choppers are all about stick and rudder!

"in general" are well-made 3D models, textures are discrete ... enhance the programming of gauges ...

Dark green or black was too boring for me.
If anyone is interested, I'll upload it to flightsim ...
