The renowned rock guitarist Gary Moore has died in a hotel room in Spain.
Mr Moore, 58, was originally from Belfast and was a former member of the legendary Irish group Thin Lizzy.
Adam Parsons, who manages Thin Lizzy, told the BBC that Mr Moore had died in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A sad loss. I've always admired Gary's playing.

Another great Irish bluesman gone. I hope he is jamming for the blues gods with Rory.

That's too bad. I especially enjoyed his blues. He was very gifted

Another legend setting stage elsewhere.

Damn...he was my age...RIP Gary.

I bet he drank more than you do. Still, one of my favorite players gone. Saw him at Bospop a few years ago. He made everyone forget the rain...RIP Gary and thanks for the music.

From the BBC article in my first post:

Bell told the BBC on Sunday he was still "in shock" at Moore's death in the Costa del Sol.
"I still can't believe it," he said.
"He was so robust, he wasn't a rock casualty, he was a healthy guy.

Shame though, was contemplating getting a ticket for the Highland festival he was going to play at later this year..

R.I.P.

His hardrock songs were a part of my youth.
I still remember how I danced with my first love to the tunes of "Empty Rooms".

I had the privilege to see him live on stage during the "After the War" tour.
What a guitar!
