View Full Version : CFS 3 ETO crash to desktop

Been a while since I flew in ETO, but last time all worked OK. Now only get to second loadng screen and it returns to dsktop?? I know there is a fix.
HELP!

delete the "uisel.xml" in the appdata-path. (not the one in the game oflder itself!)

Thanks italflyer! I now remember that from way back with CFS 3 ! I will try not to have another senior moment.

Same problem here, but where is the uisel.xml hidden, I can't find it anywhere!

You must have hidden files and folders visible.

I find PTO/MAW and the clean CFS3 files in app data, but not the ETO files......WTF?

I have separate installs for my CFS 3 sims. I first deleted the file in CFS 3 and realized after it did not fix it, I had to go to my CFS 3 ETO install and delete it.

ETO has not installed properly, or has never been run successfully since installing. If you haven't changed anything since running ETO a while back, then it wasn't installed correctly. Best start again from scratch, I fear. :frown:

Actually, running the bdp zapper fixed the issue!

It's running, but there is the issue of where the hell the appdata files went!

...enable 'hidden' files and then look in Windows...:jump:
