I have a Raptor 50, which started out as a 30 v1, and upgraded as the kits came available. Also a Venture 50 3D. (Unfortunately, I have not advanced to 3D flying, yet.)
Also have Top Flight Staggerwing with OS 160Flat Twin, and a couple electrics, an E-Flite P-38, a ParkZone P-51, and a GWS A-10 twin ducted fan (still under construction.)
Been flying for almost 26 years.

I started helicopters about 6 months ago and found a deal on a used 6 channel Walkera #35 on ebay for $90. Had to recondition the heli but parts are cheap.
I'm still in the learning phase but making progress with 6 channels.
Next I'm going to convert the bird into a Huey gunship by molding a Styrofoam and plastic shell.
Word of advice, get lots of extra cheap blades to practice with and use a training kit.

Well, I started on my Huey and did some practicing......
I'm going to hand make the fuselage out of styrofoam in halves, then make the vertical stabilizer and horizontal stabilizer out of plastic. The engine and two 30 cal., I'm still thinking about what to use. Unlike the Huey you see in the illustration below, mine will have no side doors and two 30 cal. machine guns.
Overall length is (750 mm) 29 3/4" including blades, the Huey fuselage is 25" about 1/24 scale. I already have all black carbon fiber blades and more Huey like landing skids in waiting.
Don't mind the training wheels.............

Wozza, I've seen all the models and none are close to what I want but I did make some progress. Still working on the Huey body, which is really starting to take shape.
I canned the Walkera 35 and got me a Trex 450, same scale but what an improvement. I'm waiting for a new higher power brushless motor and I will get it all together. Unfortunately I had to get a new radio/receiver that handled CCPM swashplate settings and adjustable speed control settings.
I hate Yellow, but it was the best deal I could get on a kit. Already have black carbon fiber landing gear, blades and stabilizers and will have my Huey body done for 4th of July. Hope to fly the bird at a Veterans event....Vietnam style...
