Charlie turned himself into one. So sad. Everything going for him, and he's going down the same path as John Belushi.

I think he always had a habit. I think it just became a significant problem on 2 1/2 Men. Charlie was clearly modeled after Charlie. The problem seems to be the line blurred too much between TV and reality. I suspect the show will change to reflect some of reality. (Charlie quits drinking or something.)
