As usual can't wait but I will have to anyway.

It sure looks like Mitsubishi J2M Raiden to me and it definitely looks great again!

I knew the trick was in the word "Axis", so for now the virtual RLM paint can go back into the cupboard. But I know there is an early Bf109 somewhere on Piglet's endless list so there is always hope...... :jump:

I was reading up on it a bit, just on Wiki.. It claims that a handful of them were used by Indonesia during their revolution, and a couple were used by South Korea. That adds some more "peculiar" repaint possibilities. :icon_lol:

Looks like an interesting airplane.

If 子犬は扱う really means puppy treats, it's going in the plane!

MHAircraft
March 12th, 2011, 19:53
子犬は扱う is the literal translation of the words "puppy" and "treats". If you do a reverse translation of 扱う, you'd realize that the word google picked isn't quite what the puppy has in mind.

I think the correct term is 子犬の食事.

Definitely go with what MHAircraft and g1f99059 suggested -- I was using web translation, and my Japanese doesn't go much past "Domo arigato" and "Minicraft/Hasegawa." :)

You can also say,

子犬のおやつ - "koinu no oyatsu" which is "puppy's snacks"

or 子犬の餌 - "koinu no esa" which is like to say "puppy's food"

or even just use "English" words, 子犬のトリート - which "トリート" is the borrowed English word "treat" in Japanese kana.

Roger
March 13th, 2011, 13:03
Yes we want to make sure that what is said is snacks (or treats) FOR puppies and not puppies AS snacks:kilroy:

I may be completely incorrect here, but i believe the Japanese word no translates to the american word "of, which becomes followed by the main subject, which in this case is snacks and food, which would give us the direct translation meaning Food or snacks of puppys. Means the same thing, but easily misconstrued... (gods i watch wayyyy too much anime )

No matter which. I look forward to Tims next release and the puupy treats which can alwas be found in his planes.. :) :) .. thats pretty spcial to me..

Usually it's translated "of", but this is not completely correct. "no" is the possessive article, which is more accurate to say, it's like saying the 's part of a phrase: "dog's treats".

In Japanese, the particle "no" would be understood in this way. That the treats are belonging to, or are "of" the dog's possession.

子犬の餌

In Chinese, the word 餌 means "bait." I certainly hope that it has a different meaning in Japanese. :mixedsmi:

Can mean bait in Japanese as well. Also means "feed" like "dog feed" "chicken feed" etc. Food for animals basically. Can be taken to mean food you are using for feeding an animal you have, or that you are leaving bait to catch an animal, but it's depend on context.

Yes, i´m a bit lost in this ...
I´m the one that put in this topic about the release. But someone created a new topic about the same thing after i post in this one.

So, what is correct? Revive an old topic like this or allways create a new one about the same thing? I allways try to avoid creating new topics about something that already exists here. What happens is that we end with more than one topic about the same thing.
