Tuesday we will know if that Groundhog Critter indicates if winter is waning,or will hang around?...Looking at the national weather, only the Hog knows fer sure....

In 1841Tuesday, the 2nd, was Candlemas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candlemas) day, the day on which, according to the Germans, the Groundhog peeps out of his winter quarters and if he sees his shadow he pops back for another six weeks nap, but if the day be cloudy he remains out, as the weather is to be moderate....

Looking at the National weather today.?.....That HOG ain't coming out!....STAY WARM! http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon23.gif

...If any groundhogs have any common sense within the Chicagoland area,...their best bet is dig in hard and deep. And stay there. Anywhere from 12"-24" inches of snow is predicted to hit late this afternoon and fall well into the night.

To all,

Yeup...my twins turn two years old tomorrow. Go ahead, yuck it up. I can just imagine the therapy bills when they get to grade school.

BTW..."He might be okay..." BOOM! "Well, no, probably not now." That's my favorite line.
