Im not sure if it was in this forum or over at the Iris forum, but i though there
was info on how to configure the A-10 to drop its ordanance.

Can anyone direct me to the info, or know how already and describe how ?

Thanks,

Taken from the IRIS Forums Knowledge Base Area.. :)

"Oh and for those wishing to take advantage of the bombs thing...

1. Load a flight where you want in the 'MISSION' variant of the A-10 of your choosing.
2. Save the flight. (eg. Davids Flight).
3. Look in your My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files folder for the corresponding .flt file (eg Davids flight.flt)
4. Open the file in notepad and scroll to the bottom of the file.
5. Paste the follwing content in;

[DroppableObjects.0]
ObjectSet.0=MK-82/SE, 14

6. Save the file.
7. Reload the saved situation in flightsim and inspect bombs on the racks!

To drop the ordnance, have your master arm ON, your EQ Power ON and your Gun Rate switch to SAFE. Press the trigger (default for brakes) to drop ordnance. If your Master Arm is ON, your EQ Power is ON and your Gun Rate switch to HI, then the GAU-8 will take priority over bombs when you pull the trigger..

Easy stuff.

Alternately set a joystick assignment to 'Release Droppable Objects' and drop to your hearts content..although it won't take into account master arm settings etc...
