Thanks! Very cool story about the bugler! To serve with one of the great generals of all time - Garibaldi - and then with one of the most incompetent - Custer. Wow have to wonder what his thoughts of Custer were.

I grew up about 120 miles from the Little Bighorn.

Yes ! interesting!.Nice country!
