Image tool

I just started trying out Image tool, and am wondering how do I add a custom alpha to the texture?

If it's not already in it ..... you can't. That needs to be done in the graphics program. PhotoShop is very easy to add one. It's done like a layer and you can copy and paste one in. But you can easly tell if you got a alpha in one with ImageTool.

As I am not a texture artist, I do not have a nice graphics program so I use DXTBmp. That is one way to add and edit the primary and alpha channels.

Yep, DXTBmp is great for that.
