Will be interesting to see how this compares to the Nemeth/MilViz Huey. The Dodosim version WILL be mine, however. :)

Looks amazing!

The only minor is....this is high quality UH-1 number 2 or 3 for FSX.....

Whish developers would spread their efforts a bit more. A high quality MI-8/17 Hip or Alouette 3 would be a winner as well (and many more types would make a great add on).

Be honest I may have to pick this one up myself.. I like aircraft that Aerosoft makes, and they did a different model Huey than we did.. They opted for the more modern cockpit/avionics where we went with Vietnam era. Is always good to have a civilian variant of the bird. Really want them to realease the F-14A they are working on, but they have only just started on that.

Peter Salzgeber is working on an Alouette III for FSX: fsheli.ch (http://fsheli.ch/0339d79c180d15799/0339d79c180bef940/index.html) :)

Few people know i´m a big chopper fan, having said that, and i really (honest) hate comparisons, what does this offering have above the Nemeth/Milviz one?

According to them, it's WAY better in terms of modeling.... (that's what they said on their forums when asked...)

Let's wait until the Aerosoft Huey is released!

Then we can make a fair comparison between both products :mixedsmi:

Even if it is true that's hardly a reason for someone who already owns the Nemeth one to buy the Aerosoft one. Aerosoft makes some really odd decisions sometimes...

I think I'll wait for the Dodosim bird. :wiggle:

Oh goodie. Not! Lets try to avoid lighting this fuse.

You know I try really hard not to compare the same birds across different makers (at least publicly).. Usually if it is an aircraft I am really a fan of I pick up any variant that comes out.. The Tomcat, and P-38 in particular come to mind. As I have all the payware P-38's made (Sky Unlimited, Just Flight, FSD/Milviz), and all the F-14 Tomcats ever (Dino's, and all the Iris varients)... I do not know if I would say Aerosoft makes odd decisions. I can respect where they come from on some of them. I was a beta tester for the PBY Catalina (which is a bird I love!). I mean there are products I have bought, and then wished I could of kept the money afterwards, lol.. In the last year or so though I have not felt that about any products I purchased. I suppose that is just my opinion though.. I think the Aerosoft bird will probably bring some new ideas into the fold. It is afterall a year newer. Probably will pick that up and the US Cities X Las Vegas at the same time. Been eyeing that one for a week or so now.

yeah, lets not get into comparing and complaining about companies products, last time i remember (it was over the p-38) we had a few members leave the community because of it.
