I had fully intended to write up about the Croydon until stumbling upon this page which had way more info that I could have ever found.

All I can add are a few extra photos from internet trolls at this point. Note original registration of T22 in first attachment. Note also the broken tailwheel of the Croydon after being stranded on Seringapatam Reef.

A couple more pics - one, rather dramatic, showing the unusual wing shape, another interior shot - not exactly a 747 !

Thanks Mike. Agreed the wing shape is a little unusual for the vintage.
