I am again thinking about the JSF if it flops...what then? As much as I want the JSF to be a sucess story, I am thinking if we have to fill the gap then what could it be? The A/F-18H if there is ever one...but the F-18 is an old design from the YF-17 by Nortrup Airplane Company back in 1975, yes there has been many improvements of the F-18, I feel strong support for the F-35B it is the future, it can do the same thing as the Harrier and even more...if the F-35B is dropped then what is the use of continuing with the JSF program? The F-15 is still a premier intercepter and a great fighter. The let us re-open the F-22 program and continue with it. Or bring on the YF-23 it was a great competer of the F-22.

Cheers

The F-35 is Lockheed's 787. They're simply too far along to just stop.
