Hey, Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some good repaints for the Classic Hangar FW-190 Late models. If so, that would be much appreciated.

There are a bunch over at AVSIM. If you've updated to version 2 of the early variants, make sure you grab the appropriate skins. The late variants should work no matter the version.

Happy hunting in the Wurger!

Make sure you search for Classics Hangar, with the s after Classic, that was my mistake at first. Should bring up some great pieces of art!

Thanks guys, I've been able to dig up a few, but they are elusive.... Just wondering, what kind of software/ skills would I need to make my own paints? I'd like to try, but I also want to keep it on the cheap.

All of Huub's paints are outstanding, and a must have! I hope someone takes on the new paint scheme for the Flying Heritage A5. :)

What a complex beast of a paint scheme that is...I've been following the painting progress on the FHC Facebook page. With all of the paint applications the aircraft had during the war, they are being re-applied one layer at a time, in the same manner and order they were applied during its service - from the factory scheme, to its transitional Eastern Front scheme, and then its final top coat application of squadron camouflage and codes.

I have just installed the Flight 1 DVD version - very nice :applause:. Plus I have managed to find some 'historically accurate' markings.

Now I just need to decide which repaints to download! :d

I wish the picture was bigger, but here's the FHC's Anton!

She's gonna need to get airborne and get some exhaust stains, nick up the leading edges of the wings a bit; you know, look well worn. :)

The picture is big enough for a start. I will make it a bit worn. When more pictures arive I can always make an adjustment. Like on the real thing I will start with the standard East front scheme and add the tan colour afterwards.

Cheers,
Huub
