A shipmate posted this link on Face Book today, slide show of the completed US Navy heritage paint schemes that have been completed. Each pic has the info for the unit, era and bird including the A/C's BuNo.

Maybe one of the paint masters can find something of use.

The T-45 paint jobs look sharp. I want to see the P-3's when they're done. :)

Would love to see the P-3's too but there are none in Cali that are close, VP-65 is now memory and Moffet is a ghost town. On the up side I'll be seeing REDWOLF 202 next month at NAS North Island. The plan is to have the Seawolve's H-1 displayed with HSC-84 and HSC-85's heritage birds. Got my camera ready and reservations made.

As for a repaint, that S-3 paint would look good on the DSB model.
