Hi All,
Question: What was the number of Aircraft and the number of Pilots officially allotted to an RAF fighter squadron (hurricanes or spits) during the Battle of Britain (particularly the perion around Adlertag - Aug13)??? I have some reference books referring to "12 aircraft in a squadron", others saying '26 pilots in a squadron" , but nothing difinitive. Need to know which is accurate? or was a squadron normally composed of 26 pilots and only 12 planes?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. The info is needed for somthing I'm doing in CFS3 Mission Builder.
